Don Di Placido


“My first job after leaving Uni was in the mail room of the Australian Taxation Office. Jobs were scarce and competition was keen but it was a foothold which I took hoping it was only the beginning and my career would eventually take off. The ATO provided tremendous training for what would become my profession as an accountant. I worked for a number of larger accountancy firms before co-founding what was Whyte & Di Placido in 1988 which is now Accrue. Over the years I have had the pleasure of working with a wide range of co-workers, clients and colleagues. What I and my team do at Accrue is to be the solution to problems encountered by businesses and to ease the worry of coping with the financial demands of running a successful business. After 30 plus years in business I still get a buzz from doing what I do.”
